Well we've been seriously derelict in posting anything on the blog. Whoopsie! Anyway, we've been having tons of fun with Jack lately. He's getting more expressive, adventurous, verbal, hungry...and many other adjectives...
Thanks to Nina, Jack got to play with his first helium balloon this evening...and yes, I misspelled balloon in the video. I'm too lazy to fix it. enjoy!

Jack has been learning to feed himself with a spoon and/or fork. Some meals are cleaner than others. Becky (obviously not hurrying off anywhere this day) let Jack try his skills on a bowl of oatmeal. Enthusiastic for sure...but I just noticed the spoon is upside down.

In other news, Jack loves him some bath time. Regardless of the time of day, the novelty of his current plaything, or his mood, the words "Jack, do you want to take a bath?" cause him to drop everything (sometimes literally) and speed off to the tub. This particular time, I decided to see if the magic words would snap him out of the fussy mood he was in. It worked, and mom and dad got a good laugh at his expense.

Everything turned out okay...

Oh my goodness, those are the best videos of Mr. Jack! I love the "baloon" adventures and the "wows"... actually something about his voice reminded me of Carson.

I love love the "Jack, do you want to take a bath?" and the complete change in attitude. I should give it a try on Isaac sometime.

Oh my, you guys have a cute kid. Love him.

WOW! :) How is he so cute?!?! I have so many "he's so stinkin' adorable and funny" comments going through my head, I can't straighten them out. So I'll just say...he's so stinkin' adorable and funny! Love the wall bonk! Hee!

When you said, "Jack got to play with his first helium balloon" for some reason I expected to see you letting him suck out the helium... still, very cute.

The part on the bath video where he runs into the wall is definitly the funniest!

Very cute kid!

Yeah! I've missed your posts. I loved the helium balloon, and his intensity totally reminded me of Carson. But walking into the wall is now a family classic!

What a treat! I watched these in the morning and in the afternoon and now in the evening. The balloons and his "Whoa!" and "Wow!" was really enough, then the MAGIC of the word "bath" - and Mike, your laughing when he bumped into the wall was SO much like your laughing when you're taking movies of Eric or Jim skiing and one of them wipes out. What a bunch o' GUYS Jack's gonna grow up having fun with.
